Q: HOW DO I APPLY WALLCANDY®?
A: Application is a simple three-step process of peel, place then smooth with your hand. Your WallCandy can be rearranged and easily removed numerous times. Freshly painted or cleaned walls should be completely dry before applying the product. Completely dry may be longer than you think. In some room environments that could mean a few weeks for every layer to be cured.
Q: HOW LONG WILL MY WALLCANDY® STAY UP ON MY WALL?
A: WallCandy is as easy to remove as it is to install but left alone it will stay on your wall for 3-5 glorious, artful years or more.
Q: WHAT IS WALLCANDY® MADE OF?
A: WallCandy Arts only manufactures non toxic wall decals. All of our wall decals are made of non-toxic PVC Vinyl with a low tack adhesive that allows for the reuse of the decals. While WallCandy is a PVC, it is non-phthalate, contains no VOC's or lead and complies with the following:
-OEHHA requirements for Arts & Crafts applications
-CONEG & TPCH legislation for heavy metal content
-HR4040 legislation
Q: WILL WALLCANDY® STICK TO ANY WALL IN MY HOUSE?
A: WallCandy adheres to most clean, smooth surface without pretreatment. With wallpaper, textured and finished wood surfaces, test a sample first for effect...then go hog wild.
If you're unsure whether or not our material will work on your walls, please order a free sample of our chalkboard material or classic wall decal material.
Q: WHAT DO I DO IF AN INDIVIDUAL PIECE OF ART IS TOO BIG FOR THE AREA WHERE I'D LIKE TO INSTALL IT?
A: WallCandy can be cut with a scissor or overlapped to suit your decorating needs.
Q: WILL MY WALLCANDY® WORK IN THE BATHROOM?
A: Yes, the bathroom is a great location for WallCandy. Just don't put it right inside the shower.
Q: HOW DO I CHANGE MY DESIGN?
A: To rearrange your scene, carefully peel off each element and reposition it where you like, smooth out with your hand, sit back and enjoy.
Q: CAN I CLEAN MY WALLCANDY®?
A: For cleaning, wipe panels with a damp cloth.
Q: IS WALLCANDY® REMOVABLE AND REUSABLE?
A: Yes. WallCandy can be completely removed and reused without damaging your walls.
Q: HOW DO I SAVE MY WALLCANDY® ONCE I'VE REMOVED IT FROM MY WALL?
A: Keeping the adhesive side free of debris when rearranging, and returning used WallCandy to the original silicone treated backing for storage, will help extend the long life of the product.
Q: CAN I USE SIDEWALK CHALK ON MY CHALKBOARD DECALS?
A: We advise you do not use sidewalk chalk on your decals because it can scratch the surface of the decal. We do provide chalk with some of our chalkboard wall decals. If you need chalk it can be purchased directly from Discount School Supply.
Q. WHAT TYPE OF CHALK IS IT?
A: With some of our chalkboards we supply a dustless chalk which does not contain the following common allergens:
- Does not contain Latex
- Does not contain Dairy & Casein
- Does not contain Egg
- Does not contain Gluten
- Does not contain Peanut & Tree Nut
- Does not contain Soy
